It’s common knowledge that people do crazy things when they are alcohol intoxicated; getting in fights, telling secrets, say unkind things to loved ones, and participating in one-night stands are only a few of the senseless things that being drunk can make one do.
One of the worst decisions that a person can make when they are drunk is to get behind the wheel of a vehicle. Even in the best of times driving is a big responsibility; when someone has been drinking their judgment is impaired and they may make serious blunders when on the road.
Drunk driving is the result of countless deaths across the nation. How would you live with yourself if you murdered an innocent person because you were driving when intoxicated?
If you plan to go to a party or event where there will be drinking, please have a designated driver to take you home when it is over, or just don’t go at all. By driving drunk you are risking the lives of both yourself and countless innocent victims on the road.
